Interesting that Greens got 11% so far. I find their economic strategy rather thin.

Imho, anyone who not voting Greens, hates their children, grandchildren, all descendants to come and humanity in general.

Libs is simply pointing out that to make such a broad and general accusation, in a "end of story" manner, is not helpful in any discussion or very intellectual in the wider sense

Not sure if this is the right place - but here is as good as any - for a quote I came across this afternoon.

"The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral philosophy; that is, the search for moral justification for selfishness" - John Kenneth Galbraith

Its very simple to me. Libs are the most pro wealth creation party we have. Not only are the other parties not pro wealth creation but they want to dismantle it bit by bit

Imo, The reason most ppl never get to build any wealth is due to internal conflicts. Its not a complicated equation. Libs =s best chance for a wealth creation environment. End of story.

If you narrow the definition of wealth to, "my wealth here and now, irrespective of the damage caused to others", then yes, you are 100% correct.

    This bit is the truth.

People (including myself) have made money under many governments and configurations of government - going right back to Hawk and the Democrats (remember them every time I pull on my Doc Martins).

Making wealth has little to do with the government of the day itself (unless they turn into land seizing dictators within their four year term), but by self-educating and playing with the rules and cards you are dealt

This is circling back to ideological and philosophical differences in beliefs we hold. Just have to agree to disagree.
