Now it's the long wait through the not so proactive government system to get it all finalised.

Btw your new tenant rang me at 9pm on a Sunday - I thought it was an urgent maintenance call. No she wanted to find out if I was single. She had a date lined up for me and was shocked that I was married with 3 children. Lol

At least I know my tenants think highly enough of me to think of my love life.

I've seen worse behaviour from tenants but yes you're right.

 

I help my clients promote their businesses online, optimise their exposure on search engines through natural search and paid advertisements, just a side job, love it, it's fun!

I remember my first client struggled with his online shop, not having a single order 3 months after the launch. He sells great products so I spent 2 weeks with him, did a few tricks on the website, and orders started to come through, reached $10k sales after 1 month.

 

Over the last year and a half I've been spending more and more time on a business I've been invested in for a while and have been effectively full time in it for a year, recently taking on role of director and group COO for the group of 3 companies.

As of midnight last night we finally came off embargo and can share with the world the first of our range of official Star Wars merchandise, with more to come over next few months. Pretty exciting phase as we have had phenomenal interest all over the world without a single press release or public unveiling yet, raising funds should become a hell of a lot easier now too.

I've run my own property management company for the last 2.5 years. Not long after starting (as some would know) Jake Milne joined me doing buyers' advocacy services. He left, and I decided that I wanted to keep the company to just PM again.

At the moment it's just me (and James helps from time to time) but looking to take someone on in the next few months.

I love PM, and I also love being "different" to most people my age

I don't think I could ever work for someone again!

Gosh I haven't been on the forum for ages now! I've been on the second year of maternity leave from my fifo job... which I quit just the other week as flying away from my little ones just wasn't going to cut it any more.

So I've been doing the mum thing during the day and trying to get my bed linen business going at night. Nearly there! The Good Sheet will be launching next month... if there are no more delays. My product is on its way and website is almost ready!

And I have my fingers crossed for it to work because the property thing is at an all time low point... yes I know these things are temporary, but why do they happen just when you're out of work??!

Going to court with two separate tenants, another wants and will get a rent reduction (again), up for nearly $20k in maintenance (stairs, bathrooms, fences etc), and today I got a call about another tenant handing in keys out of the blue, lease not finished and they owe rent. Sigh. Future property endeavours will not include having tenants.

 

Great name for business venture?

May I ask is one of the headaches the Mandurah property?
