If I want to buy a house, why would I use a little-known data base? Would I have to pay to use it?

    Nah,, 'Keep it simple'

But who knows them ? Even many agents use those two as their primary listings and their own website just mirrors their listings. Many of the lesser known sites seek to attract DIYers and charge them low fees or pull leads for when they give up on a agent and want to DIY list it.

Rate my agent is like other agent profile services. Those agents that pay appear to be the best local agent. It doesnt reflect all listings or even most listings. And definitely doesnt reflect all agents. Onthe house and others not much different.

Do you buy stuff on ebay or at quicksales ?

There are other sites but they tend to be desperate sellers. Stick with the two big ones.
