Properties without Power connected?

    Hi all,

    A family member of mine had recently started a business that specialises in off-grid power solutions (ie solar with a battery) and is doing a lot of work in rural areas etc.

    I have heard of properties being sold for well below market value due to the cost of bringing power to the site being in the hundreds of thousands of $$.

    Does anyone know of areas where this is the case? We're thinking we could buy properties such as this, put an off grid power solution in, and re position them to a completely different market.
