I've seen TIH2HO. Doesn't make sense until you see it in the mirror :)

Here are some that had stayed in my mind for one reason or the other:

TFORD1 was in the old classic T- model Ford
TTTT1 I saw in Audi TT sports car
STAGG was in the old classic Triumph Stag

Probably not worth the effort. Remember a listing price is an ASKING price. Tell em there dreaming. Back in time the trading post would have been the place but Telstra buggered that too.

Facebook marketplace... and grow a thick skin to cope with the time wasters, no shows and lowballs.

Don't give out your address until the day of the collection, or meet somewhere neutral.

    And of course Gumtree.

And Facebook local groups. Our local group has 40k members but it feels safer than randoms from marketplace.

Thanks! Yes mum tried on Facebook marketplace but she said it’s not allowed. I tried explaining to her that I have problems selling: “pregnant onion” plants, “Pink Princess” etc . Need to work around it using numbers instead of letters. So the banned words get through but I’m not sure she gets it or I’ve got it wrong! I’ll keep trying for a bit.

When I first retired I got a part time job delivering food for a Melbourne Social Enterprise called STREAT

For the first couple of years I drove a grotty Holden van.

Then they had a new VW van donated.

When someone said it would be good to have a nice number plate I checked the Vic Roads website and found '5TREAT' was still available.

As it was a charity I said I would buy the plates because it was the only time I would ever drive a vehicle with personalized plates.

I got a lot of deliveryman envy until I left.

I have been fully retired 3 years but its still called 'Brian's Van'
