I've been a car enthusiast for many years and have always owned Aussie or US performance cars. I've never had an issue with vandalism or malicious damage on my cars until recently.

In Feb this there, I purchased my other half a nice new BMW 4 series coupe.
In the 8 months we have owned it, its has been keyed twice!! And every 2-3 weeks or so I find that it has been spat upon... filthy!!

The car's always garaged and it's definitely not anyone we know... but from those that own prestige brands, what's your experience with malicious damage to your cars? Is it a common occurance with a prestige brand? Or have we just had a run of bad luck?

We’ve got current model X5 and M2, never had an issue. Must be some grubs around!

My relative's old E90 BMW was also keyed recently. Looks like some people in Melbourne really hate Bimmers.
