    I'm only after a 2-3 years, planning on building after that.

    Where can you buy ESP from? Can't see it at Bunnings and says that it's sold out at Masters?

    I might have gotten it at a car paint store if not at Bunnings.
    Depends on the application, you might not even need it. It helps paint stick to different surfaces.

    White Knight is the only brand I've used. Wife has used ESP (purchased from Bunnings) on varnished timber and it both prevented the varnish from leaking through and minimised prep requirements.

    Did you use White Knight for the primer and the paint? Or just the primer and use a normal paint?

    White Knight for both primer and top coat.
