I am thinking about selling a property in the Caboolture area. The house is approx 14 years old and has the standard wear marks etc. What are the best value maintenance an improvements to do to a property before sale?

Also is it worth getting a company like Fix Sell Pay, to do a check and complete the repairs? Obviously their intent is to provide local knowledge to value add to the property.

    Any recommendations are appreciated.

It's hard to say without photos of it's current state but I would look at

    - fresh coat of paint
    - replace any dated light fittings
    - freshen up landscaping
    - replace dated curtains with roller blinds
    - hire staging furniture

Ask your PM to give you suggestions about what is suitable to your target market. If the PM and the company they work for has no idea, then ask other agents in the area.

I agree with Westminster, above. Plus the carpets are probably due for replacement.
