Do you need to make calls? Is it cost effective to use your current telco? And use wifi when avail? Pretty much every where these days

If you are with Vodafone you can use their $5 day roaming package. I use this whenever I go overseas - nothing to set up, no phone to unlock etc - it just works

I used T Mobile. Good for metro area and bad in the mountains. I paid $50 plus administration fee for 30 days.

    I think A T & T has better coverage.

Yep. This is what I do. Go to a Walmart or heaps of other shops. Remember to bring your passport when you buy your sim!
