    Hi ,

Can I get some information about Preliminary Drawings please? The floor plan that you sign for and its a preliminary drawing is that only to get a " Go A Head " from the shire to say yes your house can be build. Can a builder also without you giving consent make some changes to the plan due to the drawing is on a preliminary plan.

    Thanks

@Blikkies I don't know if they can do it legally but from my experience they will talk with you to discuss any changes which will usually benefit both people. We had a few things where the builder said if we did X, Y and Z it will be more cost effective and wont make a difference to perceived value. So its a no brainer to go with those sorts of changes.
