NSW Predictions for tomorrow's Auction clearance

    Tomorrow's auction clearance rates will go a long way in setting the tone of the markets in major cities.

    What are the predictions for Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane for this week's clearance rates?

    I think Sydney would be around 70%, and Brisbane might get closer to 60%. I don't know much about Melbourne to be making a prediction.

    What do others think?

    A sunny day. That will help things.

    Budget looming. That might help things too. That might create some FOMO amongst investors trying to get in before rumoured CGT changes.

    As expected.. Slight increase in Brisbane. Consistent with the jobs scene improving. But a ways to go to see sustainability.

    Clearance rate is now 73.6%....it looks like a classic slowing market..though somebody paid a silly price for 1brm terrace in Surry Hills...
