Recently started to invest in a few Pre-IPO deals via convertible notes through brokers and one via a company directly. What I've found is that after we've sent the funds, signed the convertible note agreement and emailed it across, most of the time we don't get a signed copy back from the company we are investing in. Only 2 of the 7 deals invested in we received a signed copy back with a signature from that company.

Are we as an investor still adequately legally covered if the company hasn't signed the convertible note agreement? Obviously we've signed it and have proof that we've either emailed it to the broker or company directly but do we have the same protections without their signatures on paper?
