    Yeah we are really happy with the whole reno. 4 months from start to finish, give or take a few days...

    Yeah, we are really pleased with the results, for the most part. Just waiting for silicone to be finished off in the bathrooms and laundry, and we are pretty well ready to start moving in...

    Technically zero. Started with a 235-250K budget, but revised it upwards a few weeks in as we decided to do higher end joinery in the kitchen and bathrooms and laundry, as well as some additional data and electrical and audio work - such as the pendants in the pictures above. We also decided to do a retaining wall and re-turfing of the back yard and side yard. We also decided to do some middle to higher end appliances in the kitchen - we thought the kitchen warranted the extra spend as entry level appliances would have done a disservice to the high end kitchen finishes. In the end we came in a couple of grand below the revised budget.

    Out of curiosity, if you had your time again would you change anything? What was the most difficult aspect of pulling it all together an managing it?
