Was her reply - "I'm the home owner, and my husband has built the entire back half* of this place, i think he'll be ok doing the paint job. But thanks anyway.." ?

*Actually unsure how much more you've built than just the back

Lol she replied. "Its my house."
Then he said "who is in charge". She replies "me its my house". Then she told him we do all the work ourselves.

Lol cracked me up. Its giving me lots of ammo. I let her know that if she gets lost today I can call her parents for her.

Was hoping to have all the weatherboarding done on that side by the end of this week. But alas got most of it done. 20170203_154637.jpg 20170203_154700.jpg

Puttying, gap filling, facia board, eaves, guttering, downpipes, painting and then that side is done. And then only 3 more sides to do :)

Been slowly chipping away at the house. Got the bearers and joists done for the side deck. Wrapped the house in the insulation wrap. Put up a shed. Moved a fence to extend the yard to now include the granny flat. Turned the granny flat into a gym. Now just got to keep kicking on with the weatherboards.

Unfortunately renos are all cardio so they make you lose a lot of muscle.

Its interesting Ive seen the same with my brother in law with his project. Lost a lot of his upper body muscle.

I even remember an episode of grand designs, the container house one. That guy was really built. But after doing all the work himself he complained about losing a lot of muscle weight too.

Too much like running a marathon these damn renos :p

I eat a lot. My metabolism is just stupidly high. I went on a cruise a few years ago. I ate 2 entres and two mains and two deserts every night for dinner at the restaurant and had all you could eat buffet the rest of the time. I pretty much did nothing but laid about for 2 weeks. Everyone else at my table ate less than half what I did. They all put on a couple kg each by the end of the trip. I lost 200 grams...

Yeah it works. It has 3 swim jets but I only ever need 1. And Im buggered after 2 mins of swimming. Its too much like exercise... The massage seats are what we use. Its awesome. Probably average once a week using it right now. Thats pretty good considering how busy we are with everything. When we have time Id imagine we will use it much more often. I dont think I would use a regular pool anywhere near as often.

With all the plastic up and this bit pretty much done, the house is 99% waterproof. Definitely nice not having to worry about rain anymore.
