    Hi everyone,
as a followup to this thread NSW - Work @ Kensington and PPOR

We are trying to zero in on Glenfield for our PPOR as it has express trains to city for my partner to get to UNSW for work and quick access to M5 M7 if need be(and not during mornings)

But again dipping into the pool of knowledge just to consider pros and cons of this suburb to help us alleviate any concerns.

    Thanks for your time.

Did you finally buy in Glenfield? I'm considering this as one of the suburb for PPOR?

I have lived in Glenfield for six years and it's been fantastic thus far. I work in the city so the direct train from Glenfield station is great. My observations are mostly posistive, but if you buy on the older side of glenfield you will obviously need to perform some renovation work, but get bigger land etc.

Only real bad points for me have been lack of restaurants to out to, normally have to drive to Ingleburn or further afield. But that's a minor point.
