Hi, my new table's leg happen to block half of the wall socket. This is frustrating!:(

Does anyone have any suggestion? Can I possibly move the socket a little 'up'? how much will it cost? Or is there any 'flat' power plug on the market? My google research only show some flat plug product in US socket type not Australian type. Thanks.

Put a small block of wood under the table legs

    1. Trim the table legs by a few cms
    2. Cut & move the stretcher
    3. Move the table somewhere else

All the above suggestions especially Wylie's. Alternatively, don't use this GPO and if necessary use the power board on another GPO.

    Measuring before buying = fail.

Moving the GPO would cost approx $110-$150. But then you will need to patch and repaint that section of wall (use the cut out from the sparkie to match paint). Also use the cutout to infill the old hole. Allowing paint and gyprock repair say another $25 min.
A new table will be faster and cheaper. ;)

Them make sure when you buy your next table that it doesn't have a cross bar at the same height as the new hole. Otherwise, repeat the exercise.
