Love Mareeba coffee works. My wifes family is from Atherton. Everytime we are visiting we make sure to stop by the Coffee Works. Great coffee

Always been curious to try this.

At the moment I get ground coffee from one of our local roasters Armidale Coffee - Home - Altitude Coffee Roastery Darryl and the crew there make a mean cup of coffee, and their beans have won a number of awards.

In Melbourne: Market Lane at Prahran, Grapeseed in Armadale. In Auckland, Remedy. In California: Leap Coffee at Carlsbad. I'd appreciate any heads up for quality coffee places around Los Angeles, Newport Beach and Carlsbad.

    I don't drink coffee.

Really really hard to find a good hot chocolate though. Most places make stuff that tastes more like dirty water with sugar added.

Coffee Snobs for me too. I roast my own in a coretto roaster (heat gun and breadmaker), works a treat. Current favourite is an Ethiopian bean, Sidamo Armi, chocolatey and spicey. Works great in the aeropress, and makes an awesome cold brew (also in the aeropress) for hot summer mornings.

Just had muffin break coffee at Adelaide airport, yuck.

The cafe and restaurant scene here is dominated by Lavazza and Vittoria making coffees a real hit and miss
