There are some real hopers in the area who are trying to sell at very high sqm rates but yes they are too high, eg 188sqm for "from $450k" 39A Harold Street, Mount Lawley, WA 6050

Land of that size (tiny) is probably worth about $2200 per sqm so you're right not a huge bargain but is probably the cheapest 3 x 2 I've seen in the area ever that is not in a strata complex

That one backs onto the train line though, which you definitely want to steer clear of.

No one wants to live next to a train line. At best, it might be tolerable. At worst, it turns everyone off, including buyers, banks, LMI insurers etc.

South lake seems like a good area.Larger lots and closer to amenities.I went to see a house today and it already went under offer just in a weeks time.

What are your thoughts on this property

27 Teaguer Street, Wilson, WA 6107

Lots that are around 500 meters away are selling for 600k plus. Personally, I think it’s a really good deal for the type of house construction that sits on this property.

Can I get the brains trust views on this one? I've been looking in greenwood for a while and this has just pooped up.

97 Marlock Drive, Greenwood, WA 6024

I'm no expert on r codes and not looking to jump right into a bulldoze and build but is it even feasible? Seems pricey

It would need some refurbishment for sure to make it livable, inside and out. But the bones of it look ok and if it had the added bonus of development in a couple years that would be good.

I'm assuming the rear elevation would be an issue but that has access to the adjacent road at road level.

    Hi everyone.
I am looking for "sea change". I am a pensioner, so huge shopping plaza, U3A, library should be walking distance from the house.
    And beach not really far.

I do not really care about climate, after 8 years in Melbourne any place on Earth is great.

Currently I found 2 suburbs which looks fine, Rockingham and Mandurah, it is samples of kind of properties which I would looking for:
109 Seabrooke Avenue, Rockingham, WA 6168

52 Duverney Crescent, Coodanup, WA 6210

Is it possible for people with local knowledge tell me something good/bad about these areas?
I will look for brick house between shopping plaza and beach.

I will be in Perth after 2 weeks, but having some knowledge prior to the trip is great.

    Thank you in advance.

Whats your budget and end goals?

Mandurah canal homes have lot of wealthy retirees but investment prospects for said homes leaves a lot to be desired
