    That's an ouchie!
Geraldton has really suffered real estate-wise in the past few years.
There has been 2 other sales in the complex after that sale this year for $63k and $74k.
The property did sell in 1 day according to rpdata so there might have been a reason for the very keen pricing.
Around 2005/2007 units in this complex where getting 150-190k so if you compare the $50k in 1991 to the possibility of achieving $180k in 2006 then it's not a terrible investment. It's the market crash since then which has most of the pain in it.
Interestingly there was no sales in the complex from 2010 to 2017 which is rare in such a large complex

These will be completed in July.
My g/friends project, every apartment has some sort of view. The higher levels are specular in your face views. The floor plans are great, and the balcony sizes are awesome.

Some buyers got some great deals here, she has sold just over 50%. I think the others will fly out the door on completion. She said its been difficult in current environment different to sell OTP

Her background, an interior designer, the finishes are also brilliant.

I am actually thinking of buying one myself.

There are great views from Walcott agreed. Is this the same GF that is doing Barlee?
How much are they on the market for?

There are only 2 floorplans on the listing for me to check out :(.

    I love this one

I don't like this one - the living area is cramped and then there is this awkward extra area in the kitchen that seems wasted

My parents lived in Bateman (near Murdoch and Bullcreek) from 1986 to 1998...they also owned a house in Bullcreek.

They both were in the RHS zone...my brother went there.

Yes, saw this yesterday as well, its pretty bloody awesome, city views as well, but not as spectacular views as Walcott.
These designs for Barlee and quality are amazing too. One is sold to down sizer... hint hint... person who sold on First Ave auction recently would you believe.

The other was under offer but had to pull out due to personal stuff. I think it should sell on completion due to the quality and not much of this product around.

She just purchased another 2, one in Subi doing the same as Barlee and the other I think in Mt Lawley?

Seems like a pretty good strategy, as long as you can source the land at the right price. Also she is saving a fortunate top quality stuff from China, Italian tiles at a fraction of the cost as well as windows, hardware, frameless glass stairs all from China. We are talking around 70% in savings.

You should into China etc... perhaps you have??? this I reckon it could really work well for you.

Ah so she's who bought it. Will be a nice addition to the street. I hope she can do something nice like Barlee even though the zoning isn't as high.

I actually think that has legs. Compare the cost of building on that and the area you get to buying an off the plan apartment.

You could get a 3 x 2 going and it would work for a downsizer who wants to upgrade.
