Not saying it's necessarily the authority. But the information out there is all pointing in the same direction as far as growth drivers for QLD/Bris.

@petewargent was interviewed for the article.

The article was actually an Australian Associated Press article and syndicated to a number of newspapers.

Yep, exactly. Alot of the time the article/content is from the same source and just gets copy/pasted by the relevant mast heads.

When do you all think the borders between SYD and BRIS will be opened?
I want to travel there this year to check out real estate.

I read most of Pete's stuff. One of the few viewpoints out there I respect and pay attention to.

No idea. I doubt it will happen this year.

Premier has stated that even if at 80% double vaccinated she won’t necessarily open the borders.

cheers boss! always enjoy your posts

of course i never said anywhere prices would “double” - they just worded it to make it look that way. that’s how tabloid clicks work!

being stuck outside QLD I hope they reopen the borders soon, but can’t see it while they’re still getting donuts up there . Next year some time hopefully :-/

It will have to be when we get to 80% , if not then when? If we don’t open up at 80% the concept of Australia is essentially dead , we will be loosely associated country states .

Premier has to say that to encourage people to come and get vaxxed. Lagging seriously in Qld as it is.

It’s not because people don’t want to get jabbed , the rollout has been abysmal. Earliest appointment I have been able to get for Pfizer is mid October

What a joke hey. Start asking at pharmacies from the end of this week they will have moderna for walk ins hopefully . It’s more effective than Pfizer also . If I can snag a moderna shot I’ll cancel my Pfizer appointment
