I need an umbrella for my pool area. All the ones at bunnings are poorly rated in reviews so I’m thinking of getting a quality one installed properly into the concrete. For the size I want all up it’ll be around $4000. Most places don’t have quotes on their websites but digging around it sounds about right. I live in an area that gets hot (it’s 41 today) so definitely need shade. I’m thinking umbrella rather than shade cloth so we can put it down and rotate it as needed (it rotates 360 degrees).

Would like peoples thoughts. Obviously this is for my home not investment purposes but I’m interested in hearing about pool shading solutions.

Seems a little pricy. I am getting a custom shade sail installed as a car shelter 5.5mx5.0m with two poles (powdercoated) for $2.8k.

If I do a shade sail I won’t be able to take it down, and I rely on the sun (pool cover) to heat the pool.
