Howdy
I have been advised to use the 60-degree angle palings for fencing.

Wedge Restraint / Tilt Batten – Pool Safety Rail for Paling Fence

Do you need to have them run across all three posts that run horizontally or just the top two like the picture used?

It depends on the distance between the rails. You need to have a 900 No Climb Zone from the top of the fence so it could be just the top rail or it could be 2 rails.

Okay so I need to measure 900 from the top to the rails... if it hits the rails, I need to add the 60 degree paling...

Appreciate your comments... hard to find out this info on google....

 

It is a 900 arc from the top of the fence and you can't have anything climbable in this zone, so it extends beyond the fence rails

We actually have the climbable palings on our fence side opposite to your attachment. We are in Victoria, maybe different regulations down here compared with other tates..

I'm in VIC,
They made me pail both sides of the fence around the pool as you can see in this pic.


They also made me 'box in' the top of the fence posts too.
