Polishing is almost always cheaper per square metre than laminate. From a val pov no real difference

    From a buyer's pov,
I'd rather polished timber over laminate;)
In fact I'd pay a small premium for it

I don't think it will differ that much... sand and polish by pro will cost approx. $30 persqm, Laminate... you can go cheap but it might look cheap too.

Laminate looks cheap and deteriorates easier. You can't buff or polish it later. Sand/polish you can always fix up every few years if needed. Laminate will cost you more to rip up too

After much research i got quick step colonial range blackbutt in my ppor (one of the best laminates u can buy on the market), it looks amazing!!!

Seriously the technology of flooring these days has improved so much. 2 years ago bamboo was all the rage now some shops wont evwn stock it and alot of new houses and townhouses use vinyl planking as its the new trend.

    Do some research
