I recently promoted a affordable home loan for low income earner policy during the federal election campaign, but it seems that most people are either not interested in good housing policy, or they are incapable of seeing the major benefits of this venture, so I am now trying to gain financial partners to turn this policy, in to a business.

The policy has 4 main principles which are.

    1. The loans have a term of 30 years or 360 months.
    2. The maximum loan at this point is for $360,000.
    3. This means that our clients will have a maximum monthly repayment of $1000 a month and our repayments will not be subject to the changes in interest rates.
    4. No investors will be allowed to gain our loans, with the exception of an investor who is investing for either their children or grand children.

These loans will be not just enticing for actual home buyers, but also parents and grand parents who want to secure their child's financial future and as they will not be out of pocket by having to use their own money for the investment property, this is a much better option for them to invest in than almost any other area in society.

I hope you can all see the potential for this business. The middle classes in India and China alone could offer the business, unlimited opportunities for growth and success.

Now you are probably reading this and saying to yourself where is our profit coming from. Well we can gain profit from the reinvesting of the monthly repayment, but there is a way to make money from these loans and we can make this profit within the first 12 months. The catch here is that for me to explain that my financial partner need to supply the $400,000 investment up front.

What is the purpose of your post?

Are you seeking borrowers, lenders of investors, or are you just making a statement?

What is the pre money valuation of this (ahem) business?

And............... if it's such good policy that you report no one will listen to, perhaps try it on us for size. We might even be able to stress test it for you and help you refine your model. Surely those who couldn't see the major benefits for housing didn't pay 400 K up front to be enlightened.

I'm in! I've got the money here to send, in fact I've got heaps more than that. To get it all you have to do is pay some shipping costs and bank fees. Simply wire 10k through to me via Western Union and I'll send you the rest. Promise.

So an interest free loan, but sadly he can't even spell correctly.

Then again, I have 3 kids and 8 grandkids, so put me down for 11 loans.

Years ago there was a bloke and business that was promoting interest free loans. Asic investigated the business and it closed down without anything happening. There are somersoft threads about this.

Wonder if this is something similar
