Think I will list my next rental property as having 2 pokestops out the front and only a 1 minute walk to a pokegym. :D:D

Nintendo stock price has gone up by 50% in the few days since the game was released!... and they only own a minority interest in the company that developed the game.

Never heard of it until all these news stories started coming out this week about it. Sounds like a bit of a daft waste of time.

My 26yr old is obsessed! She went to the shops & said that there were a heap of people waiting at a Pokestop. I asked how old they were. Apparently most were around her age, which makes sense as I recall when Pokemon (the cartoon) came out she was around 10-12yrs.

I saw an article saying property values in the uk in certain areas have risen due to the rare Pokemon or poke gyms near locations.

Also heard of people in houses water bombing people who are loitering around their flats at night hunting for Pokemon..

    Crazy stuff

Rhodes in Sydney. Daughter never suggested a place/venue to go on weekend. Last night she suggest we should hang out opera house and then at Rhodes.. not buying.
She also suggested Kings Park in Perth for dinner, without knowing it's just few thousands KMs away.

I didn't have an issue with pokemon GO.

Yesterday it messed with my coffee, now I have an issue with Pokemon GO

Entire cafe of people playing it including staff o_O apparently they paid to get a poke'e'whateva out the front to attract people.

Real estate agents now using Pokemon Go as a selling point

THREE bedrooms, two bathrooms and a PokeStop. Pokemon Go is already hitting real estate listings — and some agents think even house prices may benefit.

“Just across the road is a huge park with sporting facilities — and we’ve even spotted some rare Pokemon!” reads the ad for 222 Charles Street in Townsville’s Cranbrook.

A rental listing for a two-bedroom apartment at 61/51 Playfield Street in Brisbane’s Chermside boasts an “easy five-minute walk to the busway”, a “15-minute drive to the airport”, and “close by to Marchant Park — Pokemon Go Central”.

Been having fun playing it with the almost 3 year old - except he goes through a large number of pokeballs to catch any of the critters - and our nearest poke stop is 500m away (good exercise though).

Took him to New Farm for a play on the playground but ended up walking all around the park instead - one of the radio stations was down there putting out lures which made it even easier.

Released in Europe 2 days ago, have seen people walking around with it already.

Hope my kids dont want it since it doesn't download to my phone (incompatible). Has a lot of bugs anyway apparently.

In my commute and work, managed to avoid it until today.

Kids stalling and blocking the travelators at the shops. Obviously engrossed in the app.

At least Pokemon Go has one advantage over Grindr or Tinder- if you catch something you don't need to go to the doctor.
