    Anybody got any good contacts of plumbers in Melb? Had a company went there and quoted me $1,300 just to changed a tap.

    Can you narrow down the area a bit....only 3+mill people live here.

    My BIL is in Langwarrin. Is trying to go out on his own (finally) and could use the work.

    Doubt it. They are in Endeavour Hills, about 31km from the CBD. They'll probably charge you the $1300 as a callout fee for the 2 hour return trip! :p

    U can use a handyman to do that kind of jobs replace a tap or if u are daring enough get a spanner in Bunnings with some thread and do this urself. Otherwise try plumbing boss they do stuff in the city maybe cost $100 odd
