Please help me find this door handle

I'm looking for a door handle like this to match the ones in my IP.

 

Whistle and it might appear.

A photo might help or we'll be playing 20 questions.

 

I just threw a heap out to the local metal recyclers, replaced them with normal ones

Reproduction of an older style one. Do you have a big Bunnings nearby? They often have that stuff.

 

This is a Lane product - Discontinued when Lane Hardware (A Black & Decker Co) was acquired by Zenith in the late 1990s. It was made in Newcastle but the factory was closed. All manufacturing ceased at that time.

Try some OLD hardware stores....If Bunnings have left any standing. Maybe call Proline and see if they acquired old stock. Otherwise inner city restoration shops MAY have something but it was a cheap cast product.

Nothing in that colour unfortunately, though had a Delf with slightly curly handles in silver.

 

The obvious solution could be a complete change of all door furniture to a different lever with spindle. The latch will remain the same. A larger "plate" would be expected and would mean no painting or change to the door and likely a simple case of drilling two screw holes and attaching.

$20 per door. You will find that "antique" finishes are no longer in demand and polished and satin finishes are popular

or for $45 a door a more robust lever. Spindle hole "may" suit but wont use a spindle as such

 

Yes, silver is nicer and I could easily replace the handles myself. However, it will make no difference to the rent so was hoping to just match this one - even if it isn't trendy!

I already have a brushed silver handle I can use for the new door if required.
