    Hi Guys,

I invest in Crypto through CoinSpot. They have most of the major coins available.

As a part of diversification, I want to invest in small caps, high risk high reward coins.
Unfortunately most of the small caps are not available in CoinSpot.
Can anyone please suggest any other platform which has more coins available to trade.
All the US based exchanges need SSN number to register.
    Please help.

    Thanks

    I'd recommend Binance or FTX.

Both top exchanges globally. Good luck!

Thank you. I checked Binance and they don't have SafeMoon coin and quite a few other alt coins. The coins available to buy are very similar to CoinSpot.
    Am I missing on something?

    Thanks

If you go to CoinMarketCap and search for Safemoon, at the lower half of the page you'll see available markets where you can trade this coin. It looks like it's mainly available on PancakeSwap which I believe is on the Binance ecosystem.

If you want to buy into **** coins from an exchange then Gate.io is an option. Pancakeswap if you want the DEX route but I wouldn't recommended for for newcomers.

So this is what I did -
    1. Continued buying mainstream coins (BTC, ETH, SOL etc.) on CoinSpot

    2. For small cap coins -
    • Installed MetaVerse as a google chrome extension
    • Transferred ETH and BNB to Binance
    • Transferred ETH and BNB from Binance to Metaverse
    • Go on Coinmarketarketcap.com, search the coin I want to buy
    • Mostly I find them them on Uniswap or Pancakeswap
    • Go on Uniswap or Pancakeswap
    • Connect Metaverse
    • Buy/Sell in form of ETH or BNB
    Issues -
    • Is this is the right way? It took me a day to figure it out? I have a strong feeling that there is something wrong with the above process, I must be doing something wrong
    • My biggest issue is when I want to buy a small cap coin based on ETH, then it shows "Gas Fees" as much as USD 150 for a USD 50 purchase!! This cannot be true. What is the mistake I am committing
Looking forward to some help on the above

Does anyone here know why Binance have variable exchange differences? I notice that sometimes at night, the difference between Aud/btc compared with usdt/btc is amost 1%, but during the day is like 0.1%

I don’t really care too much about exchanges. After buying first thing I move the coins to my ledger.

I use Binance and Coinspot for exchanges then I move to various wallets. MetaMask is my go to but I also have Keplr, Petra and Phantom for coins that arent supported in MetaMask.

I have a few small things on Gate.io which are not listed on Binance or Coinspot but not much, those ones I just leave on the Gate.io exchange as it's insignificant.
