G'day again. I thought I'd ask the brains trust on here for recommendations for where to buy plants for landscaping. Has anyone gone online to buy? Do people just go to Bunnings?

    I'd really appreciate the help.

I rarely buy plants from Bunnings. They are expensive! I buy mine from spud shed or a discount nursery in Perth. In Adelaide, IGA and Foodland have cheap, good quality plants but they are small.

Yep, if you can get them from a wholesaler you will save heaps. I have also bought a lot of plants as tubestock. Usually only a couple of bucks each and without long they grow.

Is this for the one for sale? I think I'd leave it as is as the photos have already been done.

If you want put some nice pot plants that you can remove at the end but beware they might go for a walk.

If it's for another project where you have some time for them to grow a bit you can use something like Diggers Club who will post the plants to the address which might help if it's another regional Drought tolerant garden | The Diggers Club

Otherwise gumtree from local area for plants that are being taken out and can easily be grown like agapanthus, mother in laws tongue etc

Front gardens from local neighbourhood. Stalk out the street including neighbour's so you know everyone's movements.

Wear gardening overall a & look professional, bring a mower/blower/edger/bag of mulch to legitimise your unannounced appearance.

Take the desired plants, backfill & mow nature strip.

    Run away. . . .

Hello Hello plants in Vic do ok
Ive bought the odd pallet and had it shipped to Sydney before.
Worked out to 60% of the cost up here ! Even after shipping.
Buying specials/end of season stock is the only way to go ;)

Is that where my plants went!!!

A tenant was a keen gardener. She also had someone in to help her with the garden. She loved the garden apparently a lot. Not sure where my lavender, hydrangeas and other plants went... was it you Scott no mates! Lol!!!

I would like people to like the photos enough to view the property, and when they are at the property have an extra delight as it is better than in the pictures & love it more. Hence, having an emotional response in a positive way.

Kind of like how a lady exposes a little skin, not too much... until things get a little more serious. Lol.

Do you have any local weekend markets? These usually have people selling lanes a lot cheaper than retail shops.

I can remember when a whole street(not plants) was stolen using this modus operandi.
