I loved it down there - absolutely amazing! My wife was VERY pregnant, so had to go by myself. Blew my mind.

    Cheers,

I'm a skeptic that has seen what can be interpreted as a ghost.

The way the human brain works is an amazing thing.

Yeah that's an awesome place. Similar spookiest place for me was being deep inside off the track Egyptian pyramids (the "Bent" and "Red" pyramids out in the desert), no tourists there just me alone inside, 90cm high passageways into the interior vaults.

As for ghosts I think Santa Claus is more real.

I did not believe ghost or spirit thing but now I am half and half.
A very close and trustworthy friend of mine told me that she was by her dad in the hospital where her dad was really sick. She was prepared for the inevitable. She saw some white and slight faint smoke rising from her dad and her dad passed away.

Many years ago my sister's BF died in a car crash. His family never liked my sister but always invite her to the annual party (not sure what you call this?) of his death. Subsequently she had a child to another man, she didn't take my niece to one of these 'parties' till she was about 6. Sis had no photos of deceased BF around the house and didn't speak of him.

Upon arriving at the BFs parent's house niece was introduced to the parents. She then asked who the other man was - to all the adults present there was no other man and they told niece so. They went upstairs and my niece pointed at a picture of the dead BF and said 'there's the man that was downstairs'.

I went back yesterday. Spoke with the lady who took the photo. She was surprised that I'd seen it, but was happy to chat, and nobody was in the vicinity, so we weren't freaking anyone out. The office manager came in and joined the chat. She said she was not scared or even freaked out, stopped her car, took out her phone, snapped the photo. They are going to try to recreate it, similar time of night, same position of car, in case it was a reflection from somewhere off to the side. They are also going to have some sort of cleansing. Nobody working there is scared but several have seen things.

They have people come in who remember the murder and one of the staff described the victim, the build and particular way the hair was worn and the hair colour. The local said that was the victim.

There are doors opened, music turned on and off, but nobody feels scared or threatened. I've never felt anything, even in the area of the murder.

I didn't ask for a copy. It didn't feel right. I would have had to ask if I could post it here, and I didn't feel comfortable doing that. It is not unlike the photo above, but against a solid door and more "person" shaped than oval shaped.

Sorry to disappoint. I did ask if she would be passing the photo onto a newspaper. Even if I had asked her to send to me, I would not post without her permission. I'm hoping she may pass it to a newspaper and then I could happily share it.

I did think that there is nothing stopping me from going there at night and seeing if I can take my own snap. If I pluck up the courage, I'll let you all know ;).

If it looks like a ghost and tastes like a ghost, then it is a ghost. :p

This photo was taken at Port Arthur in January last year. I thought it was a smudge but there are no similar smudges on other photos and I certainly did not wipe my lens.

You can make your opinion where there is a ghost in the picture.

No, not that. The "smudge" is just below the arch window next to that guy. It is whitish colour.

When I was in the Port Arthur tour, the tour guide keep say that a number of people have taken photos which shows "ghosts". They have a collection of them.

I showed them the photo and they asked me to send it to them on email, which I did.
