    With the Andrews Government new law on tenants being able to legally have pets in investment properties(In Victoria), does the same law apply when you are hiring a house for a weekend holiday?

    Residential Tenancies Act v's non tenancy (eg holiday) leases ? I doubt it. Consumer Law regulates these rather than the RTA and the consumer may get told the owner doesnt want pets. Breach = Eviction without notice.
