Can any locals or those in the know tell me the dodgy or dodgier streets of Petrie/Bray Park. I know they aren't the top Brisbane suburbs going around but it appears to suit our budget/goals and seems to have good infrastructure and developments happening in and around.
I'm heading up there next month so I am going to get a feel of it but would just like some local knowledge if anyone is willing.

Hey @Alex2003 I've recently settled on a property in Petrie.

I would say the infrastructure is definitely there but you would definitely want to pick the right pockets in Petrie. I would avoid NW Petrie and stick closer to SE Petrie, closer to station and Strathpine.

Petrie itself doesn't have impressive shopping facilities/ schools but the closer you can get to CBD the better the infrastructure.

    Hope that helps
