If there's enough interest... otherwise go to Melbourne or Sydney.

He doesn't, but what I suggest is to use the greater dividends to assist paying off the ppor debt. Then you have more available as a line of credit. Use the LOC to buy more shares. Eventually you'll have no non tax deductible debt. All the debt will be tax deductible and because your shares base is now much bigger, you'll also be generating a high cashflow. You can use that to pay the LOC down. And as you should have now amassed a large share portfolio which will do a heck of a lot of that repayment heavy lifting, it shouldn't take long to pay down the LOC.

Tickets now available for the event. Note, seats are limited, first in, best dressed. I've included discounts for attendees aged 30 and under and a discount for anybody buying multiple tickets. (You are all cluely and if you aren't under 30 i'm sure you can find a friend to attend with....) ;)

Bump! The Sydney event on the weekend was fabulous! Anyway, there's an equivalent Melbourne event this Saturday. The link is in the post above, or in my signature.

A but of housekeeping. Anybody who booked in as of around 10 days ago should have received an email with details, including notes... if it hasnt been received, please let me know. Please print the notes as it will be handy to have on the day.

I was going to go... but tight timeframe work commitments means I am not going to attend this time. :(
The event is very much still on though!

Big Thanks Gockie - Saturday was great with Peter in Melbourne. About 15 people attended (shame you couldnt make it at the last minute!). I dont need to go into too much detail as the first part of the day is summarising his book. Most active discussion was had in the afternoon with questions and Peter 'free-styling' it a bit and telling personal stories to hammer home the point. All in all well worth the $ though to get most bang for buck you really have to have read the book. Definitely worth seeing the great man in the flesh (he even signed a couple of his books at the end).

Is this discrimination as per the act?

    Anti-discrimination law and service providers

"Generally, whether goods or services are provided and the terms and conditions under which they are provided must not relate to a person's:

    • age
      "

Giving a discount does not equate a refusal of service to others...

Actually it reads "goods or services are provided" not refused.
So just as it is against the act to charge more based on sex, the same goes for age.

I'll just send them a link and let them decide.

It would seem to me that the charge was less for age not more.
