While I'm not going to this one, my small comment is if the approach /theory resonates with you, act quickly (before the ink drys on your notes!). My mistake was that I said yep, sounds great but didn't act for a while and I think I lost some of the essence . Need to go again to reinforce.

If it is a smaller group like when I went, it was great to seek other pc'ers out and discuss things further. we started with discussion from the forum anf it went from there.

Someone needs to set the audio tape up or bootleg a cinema type video piece and put it on pc for all the followers!

There's a business idea for Peter. Just record it professionally and sell a membership showing the seminar plus monthly update/s (video/audio) for $39.95 per year.

It's not to save him time and money, it's to save us time and money, comprende?

He did say he was philanthropic ;)

Maybe wearing a Peter Thornhill Property t-shirt would be easier than everyone else walking around with a tape measure checking for 6 footers :)

Perhaps the t-shirt pictured below would be better to know who the PCer’s are? Only issue is PT mightn’t let you in the door:D:

"Morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea are provided, as are pens and notepads. Coffee and tea are also provided and will be available on arrival and throughout the day."

It would be nice if attendees provide some feedback here after the course.

It was good. More mindset stuff than anything else. Very much against property, against ETFs but I didn't fully understand why.

Something to do with market makers and how the ETF would find it hard to sell underlying assets in a downturn but I was wondering, wouldn't it be the same with LIC's. Also he didn't like the dividend fluctuation experience that he had with an ETF like investment in the past apparently. He also thinks that since ETF's are in the form of trusts, they are forced to distribute all profits every year which was bad due to a reason I can't remember.

Also he didn't like that ETFs has to constantly re-adjust to match the market index, causing unnecessary transactions.

I'm probably not the best person to provide feedback as I'm a noob and may have misunderstood things.

Food was good :) very good value I'd say. His son tried to plug his business every now and then but not much really.

I also went today and found that he very closely followed the book, including slides etc. I think that if you had not read the book, it would be a great introduction which you could then reinforce by reading the book. The best value for me was the Q&A session where he answered questions people raised in writing and I also benefited from a deeper discussion on the debt recycling strategy that he really only touches on in the book.

Oh hi, I do remember seeing you actually. I was the person who asked what rate he would consider too high to borrow for debt recycling.

A very good question. His answer was that no rate is too high but I am not convinced as if the income stream doesn't keep pace you end up in neg gearing territory which you want to avoid when debt recycling.
