That would not surprise me but shock me!

Goes against all PT has previously said LIC must be around for 1000 years and no Int holdings and no fancy managers...phew do as I say not as I do? ha-ha

Anyway as @dunno has said run your own race I guess

From memory It came about through PT owning the ticket clipper MFG, a decent dividend stock, early on then deciding to take up the priority offer when Chris Mackay setup MFF. PT may have thought MFF would be more dividend focused overtime? Regardless given MFF’s performance likely a choice he doesn’t regret.

Latest newsletter, as usual there is a delay before it is up on the website as opposed to the direct email.

    It's like the prisoner joke..

A man is sent to prison for the first time.

The first night there, after the lights in the cell block are turned off, he immediately sees his cellmate going over to the bars and yelling, “twelve!” The whole cell block breaks out laughing.

A few minutes later, somebody else in the cell block yells, “four!” Again, the whole cell block breaks out laughing.

“Why are you guys just yelling numbers?” He asks his cellmate. “What’s so funny about random numbers?”

“Well,” says the older prisoner, “They’re not random. It’s just that we’ve all been in this here prison for so long, we all know all the same jokes. So after a while we just started giving them numbers and yelling those numbers is enough to remind us of the joke instead of telling it.”

Wanting to fit in, the new prisoner walks up to the bars and yells, “SIX!” But instead of laughter, a dead silence falls on the cell block. He turns to the older prisoner, “What’s wrong? Why didn’t I get any laughs?”

    “You didn’t tell it right.”

Peter's My Say is another repeat of a previous My Say.. "My Say No 38"

This is a couple of times now :D

I suppose the message is that despite the cause being different each time there’s a meltdown it’s just the same old, same old. Hence ignore the noise and business as usual for sensible long term investors. Surprisingly (or maybe not) many need reminding of it.

Also, if you pay for something you value it, you make sure you do something with it
Its like free gym memberships, years ago when I managed a gym people would ask for a free weeks trial, we wouldn't give them it as if you don't pay for it chances are you wont bother using it. If you have to part with money for something you will ( hopefully ) ensure you get your moneys worth.

For the life of me, I don't understand how people who are presumably attempting to monetise their videos - like this one - are so crap at editing and sound...
