    But if she pulled out the charger by the cord rather than by the plug, the cord will tend to pull out from the plug.

    However, Belkin brand connections used to be so much better quality that Apple's. I suspect that the reason Apple products had different charging cables for phones than other phones was to enable higher sales - especially if the product wasn't as good as it could have been. The iPad and MacBook have far better build quality than their charging cables.

    Well, if we're talking minor irritants, inappropriate apostrophes have been known to annoy some ;-)

    People who can't be arsed to flush a public toilet properly leaving you with an unpleasant surprise!

    Nah - it was pulled via the plug. The cables in that year all split along the length of the cord - nothing a bit of duct tape didn't fix but still had to pay for a new one when the computers had to be handed back in
