Last week just bought our first home , and the BP inspector said he discovered no sign of termites

After we just moved in, we spotted some irregularities on the beam, and we wonder if these are traces left by termites? Are these bite marks?

We knocked the abnormal parts and the beam as well, so far felt "solid", didnt hear the hollow sound. )

Much appreciated for any thoughts. A first time home owner still learning how to look for the signs of those daunting termites.

Not termites just a bit of kick in the saw blade as the beams were cut (t1), hit a knot (t2).

The B&P inspector checked for termites but didn't find any so you should be fine, they're trained to look for signs of them.
Unless it looks like the below I think you're ok

Not termites, irregular sawing of the pine beam, and a knot

So its knot termites, not termites.

Termites tend to eat everything under the surface and leave the top layer. The above image probably was after someone pulled off the top layer or it just gave way. Termites hate light.

This is just the normal appearance of wood - with a knot and saw mark.
