    Hi,

I want to get a contract made between myself and my grandmother for me to have the exclusive rights to purchase her property in the future subject to some set payments and other conditions into a trust account.

I don't have any experience in anything like this but I do have a small business and definitely have experience in making the wrong choice in finding contractors and service providers in the past. So if anyone has any recommendations that they can make from first hand experience I'd really appreciate the input.

I really just want to try to find someone who is fair and logical without being too expensive and able to get things like this done even though I imagine it would be a fairly small job relatively speaking.

That said, my aim is to try and decrease the chances of getting a rubbish contract at the end of it all, so if anyone has any suggestions for alternative methods for me to use to choose a lawyer (or maybe if you think this is a bad way for me to go about it), I'm all ears!

    Thanks in advance,

    Neven

Sounds like a really unusual contractual arrangement. What are you trying to do exactly? How old is your grandmother, and what benefit does she get out of this?

I use Glen Giles from Taylor Smart - www.taylorsmart.com.au He has assisted me for around 18 years and he has made a big difference.

Glen is a solid lawyer who speaks in plain language and does not try to flower up an issue into something more than it is. He also assists a couple of larger property developers in Perth so I am sure he can help.

I don't think he is too expensive but ask for a quote upfront. If you mention my name he will meet with you for a bit to see what is needed with no obligation.

If you need a big and fancy guy I can help there. But Glen is solid.
