Waikiki (like Warnbro) is basically two suburbs:
West of Read St - beachside, older mostly 70s and 80s houses, 700sqm blocks, lots of owner occs (mainly families and retirees), well kept gardens, walk to the beach, etc.

East of Read St - less desirable, released later, squeezed between two main roads, mainly cheap 90s housing stock, smaller blocks, more renters and patches of ghetto. Not considered a beach suburb by locals. On the upside it's near the train station and has these newer pockets.

I wouldn't call Waikiki an investment hotspot, but I see more potential for growth on the 'nice' western/beach side.

At random $330k and 400m from waters edge and claimed water views. According to view on here not necessarily a good investment property. Maybe a great PPOR

Not a lot of work down that way. Rockingham, Kwinana etc all hold their own in the unemployment statistics. Baldivis next door property values are tanking.
