WA Perth (Fremantle) Meetup - 28 April

some of the pubs in South Freo might be quiet. The Local Hotel is good but probably noisy.
The Seaview maybe?

 

We have a couple of suggestions left:

• The Seaview Hotel ( or is this now a restaurant? )
• A pub

Anyone want to make an executive decision and select a venue. Just a better chance of a good turn up if we select a venue.

First drink on me for whoever picks the venue ( I'm out of town so don't know the area ).

( @Westminster - unfortunately can't book Bathers Beach House - they won't do a booking for more than 8 )

I'll make sure I am there early to secure our real estate. We only have the table for 2 hours.

I @Blacky and I will have a JV meeting one day, property chat meetup "seminar" another day, then a town planning seminar with @theperthurbanist on day 3, then on day 4 I'll give a talk on "Developing remotely: being a digital nomad"

No sooner do I list who's coming and say 'let's go to the place where we can only book for 8' EVERYONE comes out of the woodwork.
I think we should book an additional table under Westminster so @wombat777 doesn't get into trouble. Last time we had a dinner, we had 2 tables and we just played musical chairs over the night.
@wombat777 do you want to handle getting another table and having it next to the other table?

I rang Bathers and extended the booking to 14 people. There are happy for us to party on until about 10pm. There are not many parties where you get to talk about exciting topics like investing, APRA shenanigans, LMR zoning, capital gains tax, sewer tunnels and shares/ETFs/LICs.
