The new shape of Perth’s skyline whats everyones thoughts on this? what are the chances of it actually all happening in the next few years? impacts on prices?
If all that goes ahead the impact on prices will be amazing. To justify 60 new buildings in such a soft market will basically mean that the whole state has done a mega backflip and gone gangbusters, absorbed current stock levels and then needed a hell of a lot more. I give it a 8% chance.
haha yes my thoughts exactly, but hopefully they start off slow and steady, get some jobs going through the construction and not oversupply with apartment stock in the mean time? slowly getting peoples faith back into perth, atleast its something right?
I remember smirking at this when on cover of the West. Take out the blue 'artist imagination drawings' and even just half of the light greens (only a da approved), there's not much left.
Well, in terms of where we are at on the mining cycle.... Anyone heard of lithium, cobalt, graphite, vanadium and oh yeah - gold btw folks...? You might like to take a look at what their commodity prices have done over the last year... Now. How could that possibly relate to a turn-around for Perth... Nah. Perth. WA. Boom. Nah... Where are we in the mining investment cycle?
