I use xero for business and it makes sense to have a similar product with live bank feeds for personal usage to make tax time a lot easier for investors.

Does anyone use anything at the moment that they recommend?
Xero personal is being phased out and other products on the market seem to be geared at people who just want to create household basic budgets, not generate reports for tax time.

I'm currently looking into Xero and Myob for business only. For investing I keep everything in excel. for backups I have separate folders for each property on google drive.

i use xero for my personal expences / properties, same as you do for your business @Foxdan. don't know what 'Xero peronsal' is. Why can't you do it, just like your business? i utilise 'funds catagories' which seperates properties from personal

    Has anyone used moneysoft.com pocketsmith.com or myprosperity.com?

All have live bank feeds for itemizing each transaction easily.

I use: "Bookkeeper 2.30" which is able to communicate with "Accountant v1.2" & "Auditor 2014".

Most importantly they all interface with "ATO - 2015/16" & "SRO".
