I'm in, just weighed in, late but whatevs. Just returned from a week away camping with friends, 18/20 of whom eat terribly, I joined rather than beat them, scales are showing, ho hum. Much of it is probably fluid so should disappear pretty quickly. So plan between now & Tuesday, when I'm back at work, is to sort the house, get lots of healthy food in there, bin any remaining junk and get some meals into the freezer for those evenings I'm home late and/or lacking motivation. Interestingly I was more active than normal but the weight still went on. Just goes to show how much food matters.

Goals for the next 30 days:
    - increase energy to keep up with the soon-to-be-6yo & do the myriad of other things I have on my various lists done
    - lose 5kgs (longer term 16.5kgs)
    - get daily exercise back into my routine
    - fit into old work pants & boardies
    - not feel like I need to wear boardies over swimmers ;)

Practical question, I put my avatar in comments, so will you add me to the list for Wednesday?

    Missed this thread until today.

Good news is the motivation from the last challenge has carried over and I've been doing some exercise 6 out of 7 days. Now to keep motivation on track and then set some goals.

    How's everyone going?
My weight hasn't changed a hell of a lot but I'm at around 19 days sugar free. Definitely a good thing.
I know there are really only 3 things I need to do to get the weight down ie that I'm not doing already: reduce / eliminate tea (and coffee); eliminate dairy; eat more veg.
tea and dairy don't agree with me anymore.

Not a whole lot, but apparently having 2 meal a day instead of 3 helps. We were on holiday visiting friend and were taking it easy, sleep a lot, no restriction in eating

I was with kids at Gold Coast last ten days. Ate plenty and unusually had an icecream everyday just because kids were having. Checked the weight today. It hasn't increased much!
I guess it will come out this week :(

Weighed in already. 0.9kgs in 3 days, which is pretty good, but I'm still not back to where I was a couple of weeks ago.

I've been tracking weight on & off for about a year & I'm realising that a day of blow out basically puts me back a week. A week of blow out pretty much puts me back a month or by then I'm disheartened, get slack and it's more like 2 months. If I'd avoided my longer blowouts I'd probably be pretty close to my goal by now, rather than only 7kgs towards it. So, I choose not to beat myself up about this but use the knowledge to keep me on track.

Another thing I've really become conscious of over the last year is that when I'm eating well I can really roll with the punches & just get on with things. I'm much more likely to become overwhelmed by 'issues' if I'm eating poorly, which also often means sleeping poorly.

Had a good week last week with a 60 minute walk each morning - although no change in weight but I did feel better. I bought the book 'I quit sugar' and made an effort with food. This week - off the wagon. Started with the awful weather so not being able to walk, then not feeling like salad on cold days and then the change in daylight saving time interrupting sleep and then Coles had Caramel koalas on sale for $2 bag. Back on track today - it is hard. The kids have joined their summer sports - which is also motivating for me - I want to get in better shape so I can coach, practice and be a role model for them.

I was going to add your name but I may end up stuffing up the system. So please continue to add your user name in the comment.

I've definitely put some on since last week - being immobile with a plaster cast and 12" titanium rod doesn't help.
