    If clients are "expecting a reduction" then that is the definition of "doing a cashy", isn't it?

    Paying cash and asking for a reduction if you pay cash is pretty self-explanatory, however differently someone wishes to dress it up.

    Did I say anything about asking for a reduction? I simply said that you can settle a legitimate invoice in cash and that is different to discounted work for cash to avoid tax.

    The part of the comment I was replying to was "The blowback from taking cash is simply not worth it. Reputable businesses function on detailed invoices, plain and simple."

    Ever paid cash for an item at a shop and got a tax receipt? Legitimate cash purchase
