    im sorry but that doesnt really make much sense to me.

    so your gf cheats on you, im a reasonable person, i would consider whether she cheated because of the condition or not, and I wouldnt expect to happen again. and there would be consequences for her, whatever it may be

    however in the case of a patholgical liar, they keep on doing it over and over again and wont learn, and it will just escalete

    it will start off as a small white lie, until they will be lying on their home loan application to telling everyone that they are best friends with Obama and he is on his speeddial

    empathy or not, I would much prefer to see these sort of people either get humilated or suffer big time through their lies, whether it be losing their job, or losing their house due to lying on their application

    in a court of law, if you get caught lying, your credibility goes down the toilet and nohting you say will be valid.

    im happy to admit Idont know much about mental illness

    This is the key part, they don't "want" to learn, they have no interest in NOT being how they are, they are psychologically built without the feeling of remorse for misleading people, they chase the thrill of being able to manipulate people and without remorse or guilt, it's an endless supply of good feels for them.

    lol you sir should find a show like seinfeld to play a part.

    I know someone like/similar to this.....they have no end of self entertainment when stringing people along, often very serious and straight people they get them hook line and sinker....... I think this is a tad psycho or some related thing.
