Here is the Parramatta Light Rail project site. http://www.parramattalightrail.nsw.gov.au

It connects Westmead Health Precinct, Parramatta North, Parramatta CBD, Camellia, Rydalmere, Telopea, Sydney Olympic Park & Strathfield.

Construction to start in 2018. The NSW Government has allocated $1 billion. I'm sure they will spend that between Strathfield and Homebush :)

Epping to Carlingford is still the missing link.

Parramatta the next cbd! I can't wait to ride the monorail again! :D

Is anything happening at the old shell refinery at camellia / rose hill? Behind the race track. Is it shut down?

Not that I'm aware of. I don't think the site is operational.

I received a pamphlet this morning at one of the stations. I really hope this project will go ahead. I see a lot of pluses... No need to change platform at clyde when going into city because it sucks.
