Interesting. I wonder why this isn't standard.

IMG_0728.JPG We did two-colour scheme to the whole house. It provides the feeling of feature walls and at the same time doesn't make them stand out too much. So every room has two walls of each colour.

I think he means get a tin of untinted paint and a tin of tinted 100% strength and add some of the untinted paint to get 75% tint.

No I understood the intention, just worry about the variation in shade particularly if I run out of paint at the end and have to mix another one. Hard to get the same colour if mixing yourself

Teetotal very nice, what two greys did you use. As it's an investment, Ive decided to keep it simple one colour, but I'm interested which two grey you used to see how it compares with other greys suggested( ie darker/ lighter/ warmer ect)

    Thanks.
This was one i was considering as well. Is this full strength?

I'm tossing up between this and westminsters brume (or tranquil retreat if brume is not available). Both very nice

Why because I like the contrast
What - not sure what this is but maybe asking what type of paint and I would go semi or full gloss enamel

Haha sorry i reread it again and it didn't really come out right.

I was asking what color do you paint your doors? Was is lexicon quarter? You mentioned that you use this for trims, I wasn't sure whether you use the same on doors or whether this was too bright for doors.

Thank you. I went with the tranquil retreat with the lexicon quarter. The grey is looking grey. The trims are still to be painted. I'm loving it. Thanks for the suggestions.

A light neutral colour will be the best for an IP

Please do post a pic when trim is done. Had decided on the same, but in our place, there is only a short period of nice light (small place/small windows) and the tranquil retreat even at 50% all of a sudden looked really dark :-(

I really like the combo, but it just doesn't seem to work in our place... Makes the rooms look a lot smaller (we had a light blue before).

Any suggestions of a lighter version of a colour similar to tranquil retreat? It is a nice grey compared to all the other ones I have tried (Dieskau/grey pebble and a few other ones). Also tried the TR 25% - still too dark unfortunately.

Also, has anyone used a paint spray gun before with dulux aquaenamel on skirting/trims/doors?

    If so, pros and/or cons?

Interesting that Tranquil Retreat at 25% was still too dark.
Consider 50% Dulux Brume or Rottnest Island
