I'm completely at a loss as what to google.
Basically I want to find a website where people say that they're going from A to B and they would bring things with them for a fee.

I wanted to replace the pan collar on my toilet and cracked it.
The and toilet is available unused for $50 in Brisbane, new it's $600. So I'm trying to see if I can get someone to bring it down for $100 or less.
It's over 25kg, so difficult to move by courier.

I've used couriers please to buy some floating vanities from Sydney, price was certainly better than auspost and from memory sendl was more too but worth trying them as well.

Be prepared that couriers please, despite being owned by Singapore post, are a bit disorganised. You'll get your item in the end, or at least I have the 3 or 4 times I used their service.

Last time was over a year ago though so not sure if much has changed.

Have you tried posting something on say Airtasker? Thought they were meant to do odd jobs?

I've used Airtasker before within Sydney to pick something up from Ikea and bring it to me...interstate might be harder.

    Try transdirect.com.au for courier options.

Otherwise on Gumtree/Facebook sometimes I see backpackers offering rides to different cities so it might be an option?

I heard somewhere that many years Aust Post decided to accept an offer to move a building interstate.

Not sure if the building was in pieces or exactly how it was done but I would have loved to have seen the building get squeezed into a letter box lol

    True story.
