just doing best until such time like baby boomers did and probably sound like a 70 year old in saying that and do feel positive it might however take a long time but will get there.

a uncle was over 40 whos now 72 when he got his and am expecting to be atleast same age he was and a person at local mens shed was similar age.

the uncle was only earning about $300 a week in the 90s which is now about 500-600 a week in todays money.

not in a hurry for a full time place yet just a shed and part time place and only thinking about houses because council wont approve a shed until you submit plans to build house.

if am able to get something run down thats got a good size yard and shed then will be set and can do up house as money allows and just do a bit at a time.

am however not putting thousands into someone elses house as its money you could use for your own

I’m a bit confused. Do you have a part time job? If not, is it possible to get some work, casual, part time?

You can still earn a bit and keep the security of Centrelink but unless you have a reason to be on Centrelink long term, you will likely do better financially with a job.

... and again you are comparing yourself - this time to the long past baby boomers, who lived in a completely different eta, and your uncle.

Don't look wistfully at others and expect to emulate them from an era that is gone and won never be again

Work on yourself, what you can do, what you want to achieve, how you are going to achieve it and what is the first step you need to take.

YOU and only YOU need to make it happen

It seems that you need to rent a granny flat or a studio apartment or a caravan in order to get a place on your own. Are you registered on the housing commission's waiting list? That is the only other form of affordable housing that I am aware of, and I am an expert at supporting people who have a disability. Please take a dose of reality if you want to move forward in your life - if you want to live in a private section of the building and you dont have that now, then what else can you afford today. You don't have to exert any energy thinking about "buying" somewhere until you have moved up to higher steps or levels on the ladder of personal growth - having a suitable and safe place to live in the here and now - in order to then start a business or get out into the workforce.

    Hi

you’s probably already know about wanting own space?

the only thing that am able to do to have it is go to somewhere public which every public place requires masks to be worn and was wondering what you can do and where you can go that doesn’t require wearing masks other than home.

man not only one living there plus property is far too small and the person that am living with which am happy doing until such time didn’t allow for future needs as well as current needs.

with buying or building you really got to allow for future needs as well as current needs because with how expensive property is these days and costs every time you sell and move up you really need to be happy long term especially if you were only just able to scrape money for a property and by allowing for future needs you’ll probably be happy with it for atleast 20 years
