So, should I go get an OTP in Oran Park ? seems like a good rental demand area, like Logan ?

PS many members saying Syd is just warming up.

my colleagues who bought in O Park are living there hapily. They are very happy being able to afford a nice new build home with very less price buying 4 yrs ago. They keep inviting others for parties and we feel ''wish we came to australia 2 yrs earlier''......thats our perspective

Biz, don't want to state the bleeding obvious, but if you have 64 places to rent in Oran Park then it's time to give the agent the boot.

And maybe buy a copy of Just Cars and start marketing to all the car clubs.

That rent will be pouring in in no time at all....

I hate it when I'm told to do that.

Anybody want to hear a limerick about "There was a young man from Nantucket..." before I go?

Oran Park was talked up before it was built as an innovative suburb in terms of layout and amenity. Not sure whether it has lived up to that. It's 60klms from the city, so I hope there are lots of jobs around there.

I reckon it got more justification hype than it deserved due to protests of the track being closed

Yes, one of my mate buy his PPoR there not as investment. It is very far from the Sydney CBD.
But he reckon that it will become like the Sydney Northwest area in the next 10-15 years for sure.
